You know, there is a thread on this forum and corresponding `AudioHack` application which, if I'm not mistaken, has something to do with equalizer on Android. See this post too
Interesting. Also, I found an Music app with EQ on Market this morning, so I think you're right - there's some way to EQ now. I'll take a look at it when I have time...when I have time :(

Dan, Android uses a totally different media framework from Sun Java, so I am afraid it is not usable.
